"Alchemy" depicts a process of uncovering and re-awakening a dormant essential identity. Something very old and familiar becomes fresh, new, “here and now”, and beautiful. Playing with both the subtle and the concrete, “Alchemy” portrays what can be the painful process of “waking up” to who we are, while inviting us to trust in our felt sense that the unknown and invisible future that we are creating by doing so is worth it.
